🎲Game elements

Types of NFTs

There are 3 types of game elements available in the game, which are NFT:

  • A chip (aka caps) is an NFT, a collection object, and its main game value is the ability to play it with other users. The value of a chip is determined by the "poncey" index.

  • Bit - NFT, a game object which is used to hit the chips (player's turn). Affects the chance to flip chips and win.

  • Pack - top-level NFT, contains a random set of NFT chips and bits

Caps

Pontaneity

Pontificate is a property of a chip (the number indicated on the chip itself) that determines its value. Chips can be "ponty-free" ( 0 ponty points) and ponty ( 1 point or more ). The ponthiness of chips is proportional to the tokens of TON for which the chip can be sold.

All ponty chips are NFT.

Where do I get caps?

Chips can be found in special packs or bought on the open market and, of course, win against opponents.

Types of caps

There are four types of caps available in the game:

  • Freecaps are freecaps that have no value ( no guts, 0 ponzi points ). This kind of cap is available in the Free Pack. Freecaps do not participate in games with ponty caps, they are only elements of the F2P-mode. When playing with Free Caps, users can earn rating points, but at a significantly slower pace than when playing with paid counters

  • Cardboard Caps - Regular Caps, 1 Ponzi Points

  • Gold Cap - Rarer Cap, 2 Ponzi points

  • Glitter Cap - Legendary Cap, 5 Ponzi Points

Bitas

About bits

Bits are a game element used to hit a stack of chips, after which they can flip. Each player has a "Standard Bit" available at the start, which has no effect on the base chance of chips being flipped. The Standard Bit is not an NFT bit.

Each NFT bat has its own unique properties that affect the chances of chips being flipped after a hit.

A bat can only be used once per match. You can do this at any point in the match by selecting any of your bats. However, after hitting a player with the bat, bats cannot be used until the end of the match, all other moves will be made with a standard bat. NFT-Beat cannot be lost and can be used in the next game with an opponent.

Where do I get bits?

NFT bits can be found in special packs ( BITA PACK ) or bought on the open market. The number of BITA packs in each season is limited, and all bits from the previous season are valid for the new season.

Caps flip mechanism

Disclaimer: At this point we are balancing the game mechanics to achieve the most interesting gameplay experience possible. The values below should be considered intermediate, not final. We will announce all major changes on the project's social networks

It's going to be very hard for humanitarians now, but this section is as important as possible, so build up your strength.

The emulation of the chip mechanics in TON CAPS is not based on physics. A mathematical model is responsible for the chance of chips flipping. Within the basic model, a player can build different strategies where the variables are responsible for chip flips: position of chips in the stack and the type of bat with which to hit.

To avoid a knowingly losing scenario for one of the players as a result of a random arrangement of the chips, their location will be controlled. The chips are shuffled according to the principle:

  1. A random chip from player A or player B is placed at the bottom of the stack.

  2. If player A's chip is at the bottom of the stack, a random player B's chip is placed on top of it.

  3. Next, the third random chip of player A is placed.

  4. Then player B's random chip and so on until the stack is formed

After the stack has been struck and certain chips have been flipped, the remaining chips are reassembled in the stack, maintaining their order (excluding chips knocked out by the player in the previous turn).

Basic caps flip chances:

  1. Each piece initially has a different percentage chance of being inverted at the moment of impact.

  2. The chance of the uppermost piece to flip is proportionally higher than the chance of the lowest one. Example:

    • If there are 10 chips in the stack, then the chance of flipping the topmost chip (1st) = 65%.

    • The chance of the chip below it (2nd) is 65% less than the chance of the previous chip.

    • The chance of the 3rd one is 65% less than the chance of the 2nd one.

    • And so on up to the lowest (10th) chip in the stack.

Standard bita

A standard free bita that every player has available. The result of the hit is calculated according to the base odds.

For comparison, consider a stack of 10 chips and the chance of them flipping from hitting "Standard bat ". The chance of the top chip (1st) being knocked over is much higher than the chance of the chips below.

Short bita

The upper half of the chip stack has an increased chance of flipping. The lower chips have the same basic odds *(the chip in the middle will belong to the top half).

The above logic is achieved by creating a multiplier for a certain number of chips (the top half), with the bottom half inheriting the base odds.

Long bita

The bottom half of the chip stack has an increased chance of flipping, the odds of the upper chips matching the base odds *(the chip in the middle will apply to the top half).

In this bit, we add the odds to the bottom chips by creating a multiplier. The bit does not reduce the odds of the top half, it has base odds.

Important: In the two bits above, the odds changed by the multiplier inherits the odds reduction logic. Example:

  • The long bit: The 5th chip in a stack of 10 as a result of the base step (65%) has a probability, 11.60%. But the 6th chip affected by the "long bit" has 17.54% and the seventh chip has 21.40%. This is achieved by the formula "17.54*65%+10%=21.40%" (where 65% is the base step for decreasing the chance, and 10% is the bit multiplier for increasing the chance).

  • By analogy, "Short Bit" increases the odds of the top 5 chips by 10%, but keeps the drop step of each chip below the top by 65%

The strategist's bita

Equates the odds of flipping for all the chips. This is achieved by finding the average probability among the probabilities of all chips in the stack. The probabilities of all chips in the stack are determined according to the base values.

The average of all odds and the final chance of flipping each chip from a hit with the strategist's bita: 18.32%

Clear bita

At the moment of impact, it guarantees the overturning of the top chip (100%), significantly reducing the chance of the rest of the chips falling out (1%).

Fisherman's bita

At the moment of impact guarantees the flip of the bottom chip (100%), greatly reducing the chance of falling out the rest (1%)

Muddy bita

After hitting, the chips in the stack are shuffled, the chance of a flip is standard.

Scoundrel's bita

After hitting for a certain number of turns blocks the use of the bit by the players. For MVPs the value may be 3 turns. The counting of moves starts after hitting with this bit. That is, the first blocked move will be the opponent's.

Packs

Types of packs

The following types of packs are available in the game:

  • Free Pack - a free pack containing 3 free caps. Every 24 hours the player can get a new free pack. This pack cannot be sold.

  • Gold CAPS Pack - this pack contains 10 NFT captures with different chances of getting: guaranteed 3 gold captures, 50% chance to get 1 shiny captive, 1% chance to get a bat, the rest of captures in pack are cardboard ones (from 6 to 7)

  • Special CAPS Pack - this pack contains 10 NFT captures with different chances of getting: guaranteed 2 shiny captures, guaranteed 5 gold captures, 10 % chance to get a bat, the rest of captures in pack are cardboard ones (from 2 to 3)

  • BITA Pack - Pack with a bat. Guaranteed drop one bat, 5% chance to get two bits

Opening packs

The probabilities of receiving chips are fixed in the blockchain and are calculated when a pack is opened. The opening procedure takes place in the TON CAPS app in the "Packs" section.

After opening, the NFT pack is burned, and in return the user receives chips according to the predetermined probabilities of falling out.
